“despite how mainstream and a poser i seem for only posting whitney houston when i found out about her passing, i have been a huge fan of hers since my mom played her mix tapes when i was a child. although being just 48, she’s had such a successful career for decades past. great artists come and go but the best never fade. her death is just as big a disappointment and recent shock as michael’s, but all us true fans can do for them now is appreciate all the talent they gave us and how much more peaceful things are for them now contrary to the stresses of fame. rest in peace, beautiful whitney ♥”            -jasmine
